DESCRIPTION

Pales are available in two sections.

'W' section is often preferred to the more traditional 'D' section, offering increased security due to the fastener head being concealed and therefore less easily tampered with, and the pale itself being inherently a stronger profile.

Palisade Fencing is offered with a choice of heads:
(a) 'D' Section

(a) 'W' Section

A. Plain head.
B. Rounded head.
C. Rounded and Notched.
D. Single Pointed head.
E. Triple head.
F. Triple pointed and splayed.
This head affords the greatest deterrent but is generally recommended for use only on fences over 1.8m high.

BRITISH STANDARDS

Palisade Fencing is manufactured to BS 1722: Part 12: 1999 or other agreed specifications. All hot dip galvanised to BS/IS EN ISO 1461.

RECOMMENDED USES

All commercial and industrial premises and any site requiring a high degree of security, for further improved perimeter protection.

SITEWORK

(a) Carry components, do not drag, particularly important where materials are colour coated.
(b) Fixing - set posts in accordance with BS 1722: Part 12: 1999, normally at 2.75 metre centres.
Fixing of horizontal rails to posts is normally by means of a fishplate connection. Pales are attached using either zinc plated or stainless steel rivets, or bolts with anti-vandal snap-off cone nuts.

ACCESSORIES

The Palisade Fencing system is offered complete with matching gate systems. Curved sections and fantails can also be manufactured.

APPEARANCE AND FINISH

Galvanised or galvanised and colour coated.

CORRUGATED 'A' PALE FENCING SYSTEM

The 'A' Pale and clamp system is a new concept in palisade fence design which incorporates a stronger pale and more secure fixing than conventional systems and should be specified where maximum security is required.

Its unique fixing system, totally conceals the head of the fastener within the pale making it secure from direct attack.

Available in a range of heights up to 3.60 metres above ground.

PORTCULLIS PALISADE

Portcullis security palisade is manufactured from 'W' profile pale section with a single pointed head. The extra security achieved with Portcullis is with the fitting of a Bressumer Rail at the base of the pales thus preventing the pales from being forced upwards or prised apart.
Portcullis Security Palisade is available in three heights 2.4m, 3.0m and 3.6m above ground.
